ROLE OVERVIEW

A new opportunity for an experienced Capital, MRO and FM procurement manager, to provide day to day management of these categories, and support key stakeholder & Head of Category requirements.

ROLE PURPOSE

Procurement role covering operational procurement, contract, risk management and day to day activities. This role will be the go-to person for resolving all operational issues across these categories.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides procurement support to Operations for the Capital, MRO (Parts & Services) and FM categories

Supports Head of Category in day to day activities

Tendering & contracting -

Plans and prepares

Sourcing and tendering

Evaluation

Implementation and debrief

Contract and legal

Negotiation -

Preparation

Use of tactics

Trading concessions

Strategy creation and use

Ability to adapt to changing situations / requirements

Performance Management -

Benchmarking suppliers and industry

Procurement measurement of procurement (KPIs)

Financial reporting management and analysis

Strategic Sourcing -

Situation analysis and market knowledge

Strategy creation

Contracting and implementation

Continuous improvement

Risk Management -

Identifying risk

Mitigating risk

Monitoring risk

Managing Supplier Relationships -

Understands the supply base and segmentation

Drives performance management

Strategic relationships, including building rapport and engagement.

Manages relationships at all levels including governance and planning.
