Service Desk Supervisor/ Team Lead/ ITIL/ Nottingham/ initial 3 months/ £19.20 - £23.87 (Umbrella)

A client in Nottingham urgently require a Service Desk Supervisor to support/supervise the Service Support Teams (1st/2nd/3rd line support).

The role will require the successful individual to;
  • Day to day management of teams
  • Take responsibility supervising staff from the Service Desk to provide effective telephony, online and remote assistance services for all hardware, software, networking infrastructure and services across the organisations sites.
  • Ensure requests for support are accurately logged, assigned and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Ensure users and other related to any incidents are kept informed of any progress
  • Ensure accurate actions are being taken to avoid or minimise any disruption
  • Assist with the implementation of strategy, processes, procedures and systems to enable full incident management operation across the services.

Skills and experience
  • High level knowledge of IT systems and solutions
  • MS Projects/ Word/ Excel/ Visio/ Email/ PowerPoint
  • 5 years' experience within technical ICT or Service Desk environment
  • Demonstrable ITIL and organisational skills
