INTERIM CREDIT MANAGER / CITY CENTRE LOCATION / £36,000 - £40,000 / GLOBAL SERVICE COMPANY / EXCELLENT BENEFITS

A global service company, based in Manchester City Centre, is recruiting an experience Credit Manager on an interim basis. A recent restructure has created the position and it has the potential of being extended or becoming permanent. The Manager will lead the Accounts Receivable Team to support the company's strategy and service delivery.

Reporting into the Senior Credit Manager, the duties will include:
  • Preparation and provision of technical analysis to support variance/issue resolution and effective management of the business
  • Drive delivery against SLA's and monitor performance using SLA's/KPI's
  • Ability to organise workload and team resource to ensure operational delivery
  • Act as an expert in the credit control processes to support the team and wider business with any queries
  • Identification and resolution of issues and escalation as required within appropriate timescales
  • Financial Controls Framework and Audit requirements are met.
  • Ensure processes are tested and reviewed regularly to mitigate risk to systems and services
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders within PBS and the wider business to implement best practice
  • Driving an engaged team through objective setting, PDR management, 1:1's, feedback, team meetings; Values & Vision
  • Coordinate, manage and develop the work of a team of staff to deliver team KPIs and maximise their effectiveness and contribution to the wider business target
  • Deputise for Head of Department as appropriate
  • Ensure a strong focus on customer service and provides an agreed level of service to the business and external customers
  • Measure and improve customer service delivery
  • Pro-actively identify, research and recommend improvements to systems, structures, procedures and practises within the department to ensure efficient and effective business operations, and implement changes once approved
  • Ensure appropriate controls are implemented and process and procedures are compliant with legal and audit requirements
  • Ensure audit requirements are agreed and met

The ideal candidate will have similar experience within a fast paced / high volume environment, proven track record of leadership, strong analytical and IT skills including excel. Available at short notice will also be advantageous.
