We are looking for a Product Owner to organise, prioritise and assess work for our scrum team.

Product Owner responsibilities include gathering feature requests, scheduling releases and coordinating sprints. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases.

Ultimately, you'll help us roll-out products that deliver our company's vision.

What you'll be doing:
  • Communicate with internal colleagues to understand and anticipate their needs
  • Consider the opportunities and potential solutions, risks, etc. in addressing business needs
  • Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap
  • Groom and prioritise backlog
  • Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria
  • Set sprint goals
  • Write acceptance tests
  • Plan releases and upgrades
  • Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints
  • Analise preferences and requests of end users
  • Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback
  • Keep track of industry trends

What you'll need:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, acting as a facilitator between business and technical communities
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, UI/UX team, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within project timeframes
  • A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change
  • Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
  • A solid understanding of the product lifecycle
  • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products, and up-to-date on industry standards and best practices

Knowledge and Skills Desirable
  • Experience participating in agile teams/SCRUM environments
  • A strong interest in business and business development
  • The ability to motivate others and lead change

Qualifications Desirable
  • A degree in a relevant subject
  • Demonstrable multiple delivery industry experience
