Global Data driven business headquartered in London is currently looking for a Head of Global Compliance for their senior leadership team.

This newly created role will report in to the CFO based in the US and will take ownership of the development and implementation of a global Internal Audit programme and processes.

This role has been created due to a major Private Equity business buying a majority stake and so this is an exciting time to join the business and play a major part in the development of financial processes globally.

The role is to interview immediately and the key responsibilities will include:
  • Development and implementation of a global Internal Audit programme and processes.
  • Collaborating globally with other internal departments to develop Internal Audit processes.
  • Identifying commercially viable solutions to the application of regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring and communicating regulatory change and actively influencing the business to establish control frameworks.
  • Training staff globally around ethics and regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting with information preparation and gathering in response to regulatory or legal requests.
  • Ensuring the completion, review and evaluation at local, regional and global levels of internal risk assessments.
  • Feeding into the evolution and evaluation of the risks in the Group Risk Framework.

The successful candidate will be / have:
  • Experience of working in an Internal Audit Leadership role in a PLC or Private Equity backed business.
  • SOX experience.
  • Problem solver - able to work without predetermined programme in order to identify and solve issues.
  • Experience in core structural change processes, such as new systems and SSCs.
  • Experience in investigations.
  • Known ability to operate with and be respected by senior personnel.
  • Language skills beneficial.
