Finance Manager (position located at our North West Facility near Longridge)

Alchemie is a successful fast-growing Digital Materials Science company looking to develop its Finance team. Alchemie has an advanced development facility in Cambridge, UK, a facility in Taizhou, China and a Head Quarters Office in the North West near Longridge.

We are looking for a bright, hard-working individual who is motivated by a high technology, fast-growing environment that is driving change and disrupting important industrial markets.

We expect you to either have experience in the following tasks or be excited and have the capability to rapidly grow into the following role and more:

·Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company

·Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement

·Assist the Board in strategic investment projects

·Assist the Board in seeking investors and devising the correct Investment strategy

·Seek out methods for minimising a financial risk to the company

·Research and analyse financial reports and market trend

·Review financial data and prepare management monthly accounts and annual reports

·Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings

·Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes

·Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company

·Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation

Preferred qualifications and skill set.

1.Degree in accounting, business economics, finance, or a related field.

2.Several years of experience in a finance role with good mathematical skills and an understanding of data privacy standards.

3.To be quick on the uptake with clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

4.A good understanding of business principles and practices.

5.Attention to detail is necessary with good analytical and critical thinking skills.
