eSift are currently looking for a Security Systems Design Team Leader with experience in managing fellow Designers in the production of technical proposals/submittals within Fire & Security to join our client, the leading global integrated security company, specialising in the provision of security products, services and solutions.

Location: Tewkesbury (GL20)

Salary: £40-45k per annum plus company car and other benefits

Reporting into the Head of Systems Design, you will be responsible for a team of 6 Systems Designers, focusing on ensuring a timely response to all enquiries from M&E and End Users throughout the UK, helping to produce a volume of quotations ranging in value from £5,000 to £2m.

You will be making sure that all quotations are accurately costed, adhere to company policies and are delivered to timescales.

You will be working closely with Sales, Operations, Product Management and Technical Support Teams, to ensure a fluid client experience.

Our ideal candidate will have/be;
  • Experience of Systems Design within the Electronic Fire & Security Industry, liaising with End Users & or M&E Contractors.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, manage a work load with quickly changing and often conflicting priorities
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability to multi task and set clear priorities
  • Good knowledge of electronic security systems and standards
  • Technically adept with good practical skills
  • The ability to interpret Customer's detailed specifications and drawings
  • Strong numerical, analytical skills and a strong financial acumen
  • High attention to detail
  • Good level of customer service and customer liaison skills
  • Enthusiastic with a real ability to learn
  • Experience of AutoCAD and MS project would be a benefit but not necessary
