We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Kettering who is looking for a Team leader to joing their team at their Residential Care Home.

Our client strives to deliver the highest standards of care within their homes and are seeking a strong individual with previous care experience to join their dedicated care team.

About the home:

These positions are in a 30 bedded Residential Care Home in Kettering that specialsies in elderly and dementia care. The most recent CQC report is rated 'GOOD' in all areas and the home is a great independent home with a reputation for providing quality care.

There is scope for progression within the home should you settle in well and there would also be a pay review after a 6 months probation.

Job Role - Residential Team Leader

Hours - Full Time (40 hours per week, alternate weekends)

Shifts - 7am-3pm, 2pm-10pm

Rate of Pay: £9.50-10.00 per hour (DOE)


*To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents (This is predominantly a floor position)

*To lead on the responsibility of residents individual care plans to ensure a person centres approach

*To provide leadership and support to the care staff

*Responsible for the administration of medication

*Liaise directly with families and friends offering them professional and emotional support

*Maintain residents dignity and independence at all times

As a Team Leader you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care assistants. You should have a strong work ethic and embody your care homes attitude towards delivering the highest standards of care.


*Previous experience within a nursing/residential home

*Previous experience as a SHCA or Team Leader

*NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care
