The main focus of this setting is to make sure the children are well cared for by providing the best possible care and education within the day to day routine. This setting is looking for someone to come in and take charge of the team to provide real direction and drive. The main remit is to be a part of the growth of this nursery, ideally someone with ideas and the creativity to go after them. This opportunity would allow you to build a team of people who trust and have a shared goal in providing the best childcare, and be at the beginning of a new stage in the settings life. There are excellent facilities available and support from the owner, who has a wealth of experience in childcare, and so understands the day to day needs of the children and the nursery staff, and how to support them.

Requirements
* Cache level 3 Nursery Nurse or equivalent
* Minimum 1 years experience in a nursery management role
* Ability to manage staff fairly
* Food Hygiene trained
* First Aid trained
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience in customer attraction
* Energy and keenness to inspire young minds
* Genuine interest in good practice and current knowledge of Safeguarding requirements
* Be able to step into a management role quickly and with purpose

Day to day responsibilities
* Daily management of nursery staff, including training, absence management and wages
* Ensure safeguarding policy is applied at all time
* Step into nursery rooms when needed (this is a supernumerary position)
* Interaction with parents to ensure client satisfaction and children are happy
* Adapt and ensure daily running of the nursery happens smoothly and to the highest standards
* Ensure that meals are healthy and nutritional and served safely
* Ensure learning journals and key learning stages are met
