The Role of a Project Support Officer
Your role as Project Support officer will involve working closely with the Senior PSO managing weekly activities and priorities and work on assigned tasks for the PSO's Directors in the team. Develop, maintain, monitor Project Plans, Risk & Stakeholder Logs, various reports and dashboards and develop documents for key Board members and Senior Meetings. Maintain and manage professional stakeholder's relationships both internal and external and be the lead point of contact.

Key Outcome & Deliverables
1.Develop and maintain processes for project monitoring and reporting of progress against plans.
2.Analyse reports to draw out key themes and issues to produce summary reports for the programme board and other forums with an emphasis on timeliness, quality and accuracy.
3.Develop and maintain key programme documentation including project plans and RAID logs.
4.Advise on and deliver the best use of project management disciplines within a complex policy and operational environment, ensuring successful delivery against agreed governance and reporting delivery channels.

5.Prepare agendas, briefing, presentations and other documentation for senior official meetings on the programme.
6.Provide secretariat support to governance boards and other key meetings as necessary.

The Project Support Officer will have:
1.Experience in Programme/Project management and associated methodologies
2.Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes, including risk management, planning and benefits management
3.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to form well thought out conclusions and recommendations
4.Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret data
5.Ability to work on several different activities and to work flexibly across these, offering support, as the need arises
6.APM Project Management Qualifications or
7.PRINCE2 Qualifications
