We are currently looking for a Junior Management Accountant to work for a leading hospitality business based in London. Salary up to £38,000 based on experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified / part qualified Management Accountant to work with a successful and experienced team.

Management Accountant Job Responsibilities
  • Manage, with financial controller, weekly reports/weekly schedules
  • Sales reports
  • Weekly forecasts
  • Reconcile revenue reports weekly to different sales systems, investigate differences confirm correct allocation of revenue streams
  • Manage and produce, with financial controller, monthly and quarterly reporting packs
  • Balance sheet, cash flow and venue and consolidated P&Ls
  • Board reporting where necessary, including variance analysis and monthly financial reporting commentary
  • Produce and deliver management accounts for entities accurately and to a specified timetable
  • Final reconciliation of revenue reports and review discounts/comps
  • Finalise entity sales margins, undertaking though review of purchases and allowances
  • Maintain accounting records of venue entities both P&L and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Review FA registers, debtors accounts and other key balance sheet reconciliation reports
  • Reconcile weekly forecasts to monthly management accounts. Prepare analysis with Financial Controller on any variances
  • Help prepare annual budgets and if required any business reforecasts as necessary
  • Assist in the reporting and tracking of capital expenditure budgets for new venues and opening timelines
  • Support the operations teams and general managers on day-to-day finance queries
  • Complete other accounting tasks as needed by the business

Management Accountant Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified/part qualified with a view to qualifying (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Firm grasp Accounting Principles / UK GAAP / IFRS 101 & 102
  • Willingness to meet deadlines on a consistent basis
  • Comfortable handling and storing confidential financial information
  • Close attention to detail
  • Knowledge of NetSuite helpful
  • Ability to compile professional and thorough accounting reports
  • Respects and understands SFAS Rules
  • Ability to analyse information in an objective and nonbiased manner
