About the Role
Here at RMS we are looking to recruit an IT Technician to provide friendly, comprehensive and professional 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support (where appropriate) for the company's IT systems, including (but not limited to) desktops, servers, laptops, mobile phones and tablets.

Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for ensuring that all infrastructure systems are kept up and running to agreed service levels.
• Ensure that company data backup and DR (disaster recovery) routines are robust, enforced and routinely tested, and that regular backups are stored off-site in accordance with company policy.
• Responsible for oversight of the installation and maintenance of all IT related hardware and it's physical security.
• Responsible for oversight of the installation and maintenance of all IT related hardware and it's physical security.
• Phone systems / Mobile Phones / Blackberry's / Servers / Routers / Laptops / Workstations / Printers / iOS Devices.
• Maintaining other IT related systems.
• Email / IT Helpdesk / Anti-Virus System.
• Manage external vendors for IT equipment / services as required to ensure that the company makes the best use of available resources.
• Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support where required for all systems where necessary and appropriate.
• Provide out of hours support on a Rota basis to cover essential office-based systems.
• Assisting the IT Manager in any other duties / projects as required.

Good knowledge of supporting the following systems:
• Active Directory
• Windows Server (2003 / 2008 R2 / 2012)
• MS Exchange 2010
• Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10
• iOS

Experience of working with:
• Networking (LAN / VPN / Wi-Fi / IP telephony)
• Anti-Virus / helpdesk / backup systems

Salary of up to £27,000
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5.30pm with scheduled breaks and lunches.
