Your main goal will be to ensure the achievement of project targets like reaching functional requirements and product quality, milestones and deadlines as well as budget and cost specifications. Amongst others, the following tasks will be in your area of responsibility.

Management and Planning:
  • ·Management of projects with Development, from initiation until release

    ·Coordinate and track projects, managing costs and project budgets

    ·Close coordination with other teams, primarily Product Management, Test, Documentation & Type Approvals

    ·Formulate project plans and Gantt charts

    ·Ensure milestones are made in-line with project plans and financial forecasts

    ·Resource projects in accordance with the project plan and manage development resources to supply system solutions

    ·Provide regular progress reports & ensure project objectives are clear


    ·Organise regular project review meetings

    ·Produce reports to clearly show project status and progress

    ·Understand resource utilisation and answer "What if ?" questions

    ·Work within the framework of Jenoptik Quality and Environmental Management System


    ·Build a strong working knowledge of products developed by Jenoptik Traffic Solutions UK ltd.

    ·Maintain a positive and professional image of Jenoptik when dealing with internal staff

    ·Coordinate tasks across teams, communicating with them regularly

    ·Build good working relationships by understanding project objectives.

    ·Resolve any disputes/issues to reach optimal outcomes

    ·Ability to remain calm under pressure

    ·Relevant degree level qualification or equivalent

    ·Project Management experience

    ·Experience in Jira software tracking system (desirable)

    ·Experience of working in a technical environment

    ·Evidence of continuing professional development
