Risk & Compliance Manager

Based in Macclesfield, Cheshire

Permanent - 37.5 hours per week

Elior UK are an award-winning contract caterer and have an exciting opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in Legal.

This position is based at our head office in Macclesfield which is a vibrant, friendly and collaborative environment, with a subsidised restaurant onsite. You will be joining a team of 8 passionate and hardworking individuals.


Summary of Role

As our Risk & Compliance Manager, you are responsible for implementing, managing and controlling appropriate initiatives to ensure Elior UK's compliance and governance in key areas of risk and compliance. You will ensure that Elior UK operates in a legal and ethical manner whilst ensuring business/commercial goals and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities of the role include, Data Protection, Business Continuity Risk and Planning, Bribery & Corruption, PCI, DSS, Corporate Criminal Offenses and Risk Mapping exercise for Elior Group.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

As our Risk & Compliance Manager, you will:

*Develop & implement an effective legal compliance program/framework
covering all areas of business regulatory, compliance and governance risk.

*Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them, presenting key areas of risk appropriately.

*Educate and train colleagues on regulations and best practice.

*Create plans to manage compliance issues and to escalate areas of concern.

Knowledge and Skills

To succeed within the role, you will be a reliable professional who is not afraid to challenge or speak your mind. Proven experience of risk & compliance would be an advantage, familiarity of industry practices and professional standards is essential.

You will have excellent communication skills, integrity and business acumen. You will be a strong influencer who can work and set your own plans, with limited direction.

Experience of working at group/head office level would be preferential
