My client is currently looking to recruit an RGN qualified Deputy Nurse Manager to join their team at their care home in Burnham-on-Sea.

This care home provides high quality care for residents with nursing, dementia and residential needs. The home also offers convalescence, palliative and respite care, as well as a day care service to the local community.

Details of this Deputy Nurse Manager vacancy and what the successful candidate can expect to receive:
• A very competitive hourly rate of £18.00 (Equates to £37,440 per annum / NHS Band 6)
• Paid breaks
• Paid handover at end of each shift
• Premium pay rates for working Bank Holidays, double pay for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, time and a half for working all other Bank Holidays
• 40 hours per week on a permanent, days contract

As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home and will lead the home in their absence. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring the planning and delivery of care and will ensure care plans and medication records are correctly updated, undertaking regular clinical audits and supervisions.

Applicants for this Deputy Nurse Manager position should meet the following criteria:
• NMC registered Adult General Nurse/RGN
• Experienced in a managerial or supervisory capacity within the elderly care sector
• Confident leading, developing and motivating a team
• Demonstrate good working knowledge of CQC essential standards
