IT Sales Account Manager

Gloucester based with travel to client sites within a 2 hour radius

£35k basic plus car allowance and uncapped commission

This is an exciting time to join our client who is building a sales team, streamlining the business and driving business forward. They already have a number of loyal business clients and need an Account Manager with strong sales and relationship building capability to discuss solutions and maximise opportunities to sell their full product range. The ideal person will have previous experience working in a Technical / IT /Telecoms sales or account management position and offering solutions.

Duties will include;

* Managing customer accounts to ensure sales opportunities are maximised and contracts are profitable.

* Carry out presentations and demonstrations to clients.

* Use technical experience to sell IT hardware, networking, infrastructure and software solutions.

* Build business relationships with new and existing clients.

* Create proposals, tender responses and bid responses.

* Ensure all projects are handed over to the technology support and projects team.

* Attend conference and networking events as required and give presentations and talks.

* Use a CRM system, ensure all contract, sales and orders are logged and systems are up to date.

* Manage your time effectively and work to achieve sales goals and targets.

Skills and Experience:

* Highly motivated and professional person with previous experience of IT / Telecoms solution sales.

* Strong confident communications skills with the ability to build relationships.

* A consultative approach to sales.

* Ability to analyse and write tenders and contract scopes.

* Collaborative working approach.

* Working knowledge of windows server, windows, office, exchange server.

* Full clean driving licence required.

* Well organised and proactive person who enjoys a challenge
