This is a new, critical, role within our Finance function that is refocussing what we do, in support of new and exciting business requirements to deliver value added finance business support. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the CFO.

You will be responsible for all aspects of financial planning & analysis and a critical business partner across all aspects of the business. Key responsibilities will include, forecasting and budgeting, project profitability, utilisation of time, pipeline analysis, bid tear downs, management accounts and developing KPIs. The role will also be involved in ERP implementation project.

This position will be exciting, fast-paced and varied - so you will need to be able to turn your hand to a number of activities.

Although not an exhaustive list, these duties will include:
  • Working with the Financial controller to produce insightful, accurate and timely monthly management accounts. Developing appropriate KPIS.
  • Delivery and development of project profitability, review with none finance to drive corrective actions.
  • Development and delivery of key insights into utilisation of all employees
  • Supporting the business planning and forecasting processes, working across the business to ensure appropriate plans are set and all variances are understood
  • Pipeline and sales analysis to deliver insights and KPIs into likely future revenues
  • Supporting the Sales and Operations Planning process
  • Supporting the business by providing timely and insightful management information and analysis on revenue, costs, cashflows and working capital
  • Working with the business to develop business cases and rationale for projects and improvements
  • Ensuring continuous improvement, automation and simplification of financial and analytical processes
  • Supporting ERP implementation selection and delivery

Role Requirements;
  • Qualified Accountant, ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Able to both challenge and support members of the senior team to ensure best practice
  • Detailed and accurate, but with an eye on bigger picture
  • Curious and analytical
  • Impeccable written and oral skills
  • Demonstrable FP&A experience
  • Desire to drive continuous improvement and aspire to excellence
  • Fully IT literate - including PowerPoint and strong excel skills
