An exciting career opportunity as a Freight Account Manager with a leading Freight Forwarder based in Newcastle. Key responsibilities:
  • Execute commercial strategy.
  • Increase Customer Experience and build loyalty overtime by providing excellent standards of service with care attitude.
  • Strong drives to develop business pipeline, including managing given portfolio, volume forecasting, building new customers and opportunities 'generation.
  • Ensure Customer Relationship Management tools, reflecting all times high quality data.
  • Develop customer value propositions for all appropriate business opportunities. Sales to distinguish market presence by effectively probing and identifying needs to add value to customers´ business.
  • Understand of all service offerings to be able to offer & develop integrated logistics solutions.
  • Be informed about industry trends as well as about competition environment, providing feedback to colleagues and actively collaborate with pricing and product strategies.
  • Customer acquisition - Focus on the penetration of our brand by developing a professional sales pitch based on our product differentiators in order to expand and create new business opportunity.

We are looking for:
  • We are looking for a Sales professional with a good experience, and very good understanding of global trades, shipping lines and freight forwarding business model.
  • Prior working experience in freight forwarding.
  • Strong negotiator with hunter mindset who understands procurement tactics, and has a very good interpersonal skill to keep the good relationship.
  • Able to handle multiple vertical and horizontal stakeholders, with multicultural backgrounds, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Someone with a proven track record in winning and developing customers. Proof of winning is a plus.
  • Able to think outside the box, deliver innovative solutions and ways of working.
  • Has strong communication skills and good commercial sense.
  • Is proactive, able to take ownership, is willing to go the extra mile for customers and build long term relationships.
  • Has good Microsoft Excel skills, able to work on live online system
  • Must possess strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent ability to problem solve and deal with a variety of concrete variables
  • Strong process oriented approach to work and excellent attention to detail.
  • Resilient team player who is goal-orientated and demonstrates a high level of commitment with the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent English Written and Verbal skills with people at all levels across the organization.
  • Ability to multi-task with a strong sense of urgency
