We're looking for a passionate, hard-working, detail-oriented person to help support global expansion via providing financial accounting support as part of an enthusiastic and vibrant finance team. What you will be doing:
  • Preparation of month-end consolidation for the group
  • Working alongside the Group Financial Controller to implement more efficient processes
  • Assisting with cash forecasting and other ad-hoc tasks
  • Preparation of monthly board pack and post accruals / prepayments
  • Maintaining accounting software which includes review of SAGE cost centres and department data which includes posting of transactions
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register for the business
  • Responsibility for the preparation of annual group and subsidiary financial statements, including cash flow statement and associated disclosure notes in accordance with IFRS
  • Ensuring compliance to statutory and investor deadlines
  • Suggesting improvements to month end reporting and close processes
  • Responsibility for VAT input and review
  • Assisting with building complete data set of key financial documents in final format
  • Ensuring preparation of accounting papers to support financial / regulatory changes as required

About you:
  • Someone with a keen interest in finance or technology
  • A CIMA / ACA / ACCA qualified accountant
  • A self-starter, someone always looking to make improvements
