Job Title: Finance Apprentice - Assistant Accountant

Reporting to: Head of Finance

Location: Totnes

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 9.00 to 17.30 (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: Starting salary of £12,000 PA gradually increasing to £18,000 PA over 24 months

The Role, Behaviours & Experience Required

We offer a great working environment, excellent training and the opportunity to work alongside experienced staff and gain job specific skills whilst also studying towards your AAT level 3. The successful individual will be a member of the financial reporting team gaining experience in the fundamentals of management and statutory accounting.

You will be balancing your studies and assisting with the following tasks:
  • Completing weekly reporting
  • Assisting with monthly reporting
  • Assisting with quotes and Rate calculations
  • Dealing with ad-hoc requests from the business

To apply for this role you will need:
  • AAT level 2 qualification
  • A minimum of 1 year work experience
  • Awesome customer service skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Excellent ability to multitask

  • Brilliant communication skills
