Enable Futures are operating as an employment business on behalf of its client and recruiting for a permanent Paraplanner joining a leading Financial Planning and Specialist Insurance Services organisation based in Taunton, Somerset.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and the annual salary is £38,000 to £40,000 PA.

You will be working alongside the Paraplanning team and Independent Financial Advisers, providing exceptional technical support and ensuring a high level of service is provided to their clients; all in support of the company's business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain client files

Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative client data

Discuss client objectives with IFAs

Identify and prioritise client's needs

Prepare recommendations

Identify areas for planning

Undertake research and identify appropriate solutions both independently and with the IFAs

Prepare draft recommendation reports to be discussed/signed off by IFAs

Implement recommendations

Prepare suitability letters in accordance with agreed recommendations

Complete applications/proposal forms where required

Ensure all compliance paperwork is in order

Make changes to clients' investments or implement the chosen investment strategies as instructed

Complete draft reports within target deadline

Act as main point of contact and deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties through effective communication

Establish and build strong relationships with clients and attend client meetings with IFAs if required

Review investment portfolio, asset allocation, risk profile etc.

Send planning figures to client for update and revision in preparation for review meeting

Assist with training & coaching of colleagues

Build strong client and IFA relationships

Adhere to all Company, regulatory and compliance guideline requirements

Maintain own technical competence

Support colleagues from all areas of the business as required

Experience, attributes & skills sought:

Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma in Financial Planning

Chartered Insurance Institute Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and Chartered Financial Planner status desirable

Quality orientated with great attention to detail and the ability to question and challenge understanding & accuracy

Organised, resourceful, deadline driven and supportive of the wider team

Excellent interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication

Proactive, collaborative and dedicated to delivering an excellent client experience

Ability to work in a regulated, compliant and client focussed environment

IT literate and analytical
