Our client is a recognised global leading supplier of products for the Logistics & Industrial sector. Due to significant expansion they are looking to acquire the services of an Account Manager to join their friendly team. As this role is newly created, this is a superb opportunity for a target driven and ambitious individual to show their capabilities and enjoy a successful career.

Responsibilities:
  • Build lasting relationships with key decision-makers and expand a portfolio of accounts in addition to developing relationships with potential new customers
  • Attend client meetings
  • Generate business introductions, prospects & sales leads
  • Assist Account Manager in pro-actively managing customer requirements ensuring all opportunities to increase business revenues from customer are achieved
  • Work closely with sales, Profit Centre managers & Operations in order to supply best in class Customer Satisfaction
  • Provide two-way communication, information and feedback relating to new opportunities
  • Understand, support & meet business strategy, plans & profit targets
  • Achieve individual personal objectives in line with company strategy
  • Continual development of awareness of customer & industry needs
  • Proactively identify business risks
  • Manage internal suppliers to satisfy customer needs
  • Compliance to company policies and group management systems

Key Skills & Experience
  • Experience in Account Management/Business Development role is essential
  • Confident & experienced in sales related phone conversations
  • Self-driven, proactive & enthusiastic
  • Customer focused approach
  • Solution orientated problem-solving ability
  • Passion for sales & working on own initiative
  • Highly IT literate, particularly Excel
  • Proficient in using social media especially Linked In
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours due to travel
