CRM and Systems Marketing Manager

upto £45k

Job Summary

This individual will be the go-to person for all things CRM and marketing systems related. Whilst it is a technical role, we're not looking for a developer, but someone who can fill the gap between technical and marketing elements, to deploy, implement and be responsible for our marketing systems and processes. As part of the central, Coventry-based marketing team, you'll work closely with the Senior Marketing Lead, Divisional Director and Business and Sales Teams across the organisation, to ensure we make the best use of existing and emerging new technology to achieve our sales and marketing goals.

Key responsibilities

Own the company's CRM and other marketing systems, working with departments across the organisation to create a robust, single and accurate source of information on the Group's customers, prospects and suspects.
Manage and maintain the marketing database and related systems to deliver best practice in campaign, customer and lead management, ensuring the efficiency of the sales and marketing function.
Manage the technical aspects and integration of sales & marketing applications, and marketing technology platforms such as HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/Salesforce, Lead Forensics, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and email systems (e.g. Pure360), recommending opportunities for automation where possible.
Working with the marketing team, develop, coordinate and deploy tactical changes to marketing systems as required.
Manage and liaise with third-party suppliers to resolve issues, recommend and implement improvements.
Ensure databases are cleaned, deduped, standardised and enriched to ensure better engagement, and work with data providers and sources of data to upload and update information whilst maintaining data integrity and avoiding data loss.
Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practice in data, campaign and lead management.
Maintain awareness of latest legislation (including GDPR), systems and processes to check and meet data protection regulations relating to the sourcing, collection, storage and use of prospect and customer data. Work closely with teams across the business to ensure data is managed accordingly.
Train new and existing users to follow company standards and understand the implications of legislation. Review access rights and compliance regularly and police systems and processes so we maintain best practice and data integrity.
Set up reporting processes for management teams, drive sales and marketing reports and sales forecasting, and provide data insights to inform decisions and future campaigns
Define and create customised views, dashboards and reports for marketing and sales activities that measure contributions to the sales pipeline and campaign ROI
Work with business units, marketing and sales teams to support and implement strategic projects
Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications, and implement system and process improvements to enhance and optimise the performance of our marketing and sales teams
Deliver a high-quality service and generate systems and data-driven ideas as part of the marketing team, to drive growth and efficiencyQualifications and Experience

Degree level or equivalent, preferably in a marketing/IT or related business discipline
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a marketing/technical marketing role
Extensive knowledge of CRM, marketing systems and platforms (Microsoft CRM/Salesforce, HubSpot, Lead Forensics, Pure360, LinkedIn)
Experience of data analysis, reporting and marketing campaign processes
Highly proficient in business software & MS Office applications, particularly Excel
Working knowledge of B2B software industry, desirableEssential criteria

Confident, experienced professional with good communication skills
Self-starter who can work both autonomously and as a key team player
Numerate, analytical, with attention to detail and the ability to focus on the right metrics to improve results
A thirst for knowledge and willingness to take on challenges and try new things
Excellent prioritisation skills, able to be adaptable and balance multiple projects simultaneously
