The Baird Group is extending its Compliance function to cover the broad range of accreditations held and maintained across the Group. The compliance function spans the management of our technical and non-technical standards.

We are now seeking a compliance professional to join the team to manage our non-technical standards.

**Job Purpose**

To lead the progression and maintenance of the non-technical Management Systems in use across the Baird Group, by achieving appropriate goals and measurements in line with:

- ISO 9001: Quality Management
- ISO14001: Environmental
- OHSAS 18001 (transitioning to ISO45001) Health & Safety

In addition to the non-technical standards, we also maintain several technical standards. the objective is to move toward an integrated management system (IMS), therefore experience of working with and implementing an IMS would be very beneficial.


The role reports to the CTO/ Head of Compliance.

The role has no direct reports but is responsible for working closely with staff across the Baird Group.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Maintenance of the management systems
- Implementation and maintenance of an Integrated Management System in line with best practice guidelines
- Management of the relationship with external accreditation bodies
- Assisting in external audits
- Coordinate formal management reviews
- Scheduling & conducting internal audits
- Supporting the bid teams with information for tenders or request for information
- Management Systems process reviews


- Ideally a minimum of 5 years experience in a compliance management role
- Experience of implementing an IMS (Integrated Management System) Beneficial
- ISO 9001- Required

- ISO22301 - Beneficial
- ISO/IEC27001 Beneficial
- BS 10008 Beneficial
- Data Protection and GDPR knowledge - Beneficial
- Project Management experience - Beneficial
- Good working experience of Microsoft Office Products - Required
- Process development & implementation - Required
- IOSH Working Safely - Required
- Working towards NEBOSH diploma - Desirable
- Lead Auditor qualification - Required
- Lead Implementor qualification - Required
- Ability to develop and present training material - Desired
- Ability to work under own initiative Required
- Degree level education Desired
- Current UK driving license - Required
- UK National - able to achieve UK Security Clearance - Required
