Do you have experience working within a childcare environment in a teaching/support role?

The Staff Room/ MEM Recruitment are URGENTLY seeking teaching assistants to work in various roles within Primary Schools in the Northamptonshire area to cover planned and unplanned staff absences.

Essential

·You must have at least 6 months experience within the last 5 years supporting children within a childcare environment or organisation.

·You must understand the needs of young children and the way in which they learn and develop.

Desirable

·Any qualifications relating to childcare or education

·An NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants

·Team Teach training

·GSCE English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.

The Staff Room Requirements

·You MUST have at least 6 months of experience in the last 5 years working within a UK childcare/primary school setting.

·Candidates must be energetic and motivated with a commitment to show patience, adaptability and responsibility throughout the duration of your assignment.

·You must show initiative and the ability to work confidently on your own as well as being able to work as part of a large team.

·You will need to satisfactorily complete all safeguarding checks to include DBS, children's barred list, Teaching Regulation Agency checks and professional references (at least 1 x reference MUST be from childcare related employment which will be able to comment on safeguarding over a minimum 3 month period)
