Salary: £27,373.50 benefits - negotiable depending on experience

Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week / part time - 24 hours per week

This purpose-built learning disabilities unit, offers comprehensive tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in a low secure setting for adolescents with a learning disability or autism, in a safe and secure environment.

Set within its own private grounds in a quiet, residential area in High Wycombe, this is a 12-bedded facility that delivers expert, multidisciplinary treatment for young people. All services are delivered in partnership with the NHS and structured cost frameworks are provided for commissioners and referring healthcare professionals.

    Male and female patients aged between 13 and 17 yearsThose who have diagnoses of learning disabilities or autism and a concurrent mental illness requiring detention in a low secure settingThe CAMHS learning disability offering aims to provide the young people in our care with:Expert, individualised care in a safe, secure and highly supportive settingThe ability for patients to transition between services as appropriateClear, effective treatment pathwaysA Care Programme Approach (CPA) that fully involves the patient and their families/carersStrong links with educational and community agencies, enabling patients to maximise their life opportunitiesOutcome-driven and evidence-based interventions and care plans, flexible to individuals' needsAccess to a wide range of psychological therapiesHighly-skilled multidisciplinary teamHigh staffing ratiosClose collaboration with referrers and commissioners with a multi-agency approach to help transition out of the service
