My client, an ambitious, fast-growing media company, is seeking an accounts payable clerk looking to grow their career with the business. Based in the heart of central London, the role will initially report into the accounts payable supervisor, with scope to grow or move into another part of the business after gaining some experience.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Processing a high volume of invoices
- Assisting with, and eventually completely, several payment runs each week
- Setting up supplier accounts on the system
- Supplier reconciliations
- Work with internal teams and suppliers to manage the AP function
- Ad-hoc duties

The ideal candidate will be diligent, organised and eager to learn, with the communication skills to build relationships both inside and outside the business. Initial experience in finance, and experience using an accounting system, is essential. This role is the ideal fit for a candidate studying/looking to start on their ACCA or CIMA qualification, looking for a chance to grow with a fast-growing company determined to develop their staff from within.
