Falkirk Music Education

Music Education in Falkirk supports children and young people from 3 - 18. The main elements of music are delivered by Music Teachers in primary and secondary schools and Instrumental Music Teachers from P4 - S6. Our Youth Music Initiative programmes offer support for early years and ASN.

Exciting changes have been made recently where the secondary school coordinates the primary music provision to increase progression and develop stronger transition links with secondary schools. This will involve primary music teachers delivering within a cluster model that is managed by secondary schools.
