Digital Channel / Marketing Manager - The Opportunity:

SPB UK are one of the UKs largest providers of insurance for the mobile phone and gadget market. Through several brands, we operate across both B2C and B2B markets, providing online insurance policies to the consumer audience whilst also providing support services for retailers and e-commerce brands.

We are part of the wider SPB Group, the biggest European provider of Affinity Insurance services who have over 50 million policy holders worldwide.

Each of our UK brands have exciting development plans, and we are now looking for a driven and target orientated individual to join our team to help grown each of our business units.

Digital Channel / Marketing Manager - The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, you'll be joining a company focused on growth. Based just outside Portsmouth, this is a hands-on role working within a small team of marketing specialists tasked on growing our respective brands both within the UK, and internationally.

The ideal candidate will have a broad mix of experience across key digital channels - PPC, social media marketing, Affiliates and SEO. You will have demonstrable campaign experience and have evidence of growing brand presence online. You will also be tasked with improving conversions from current marketing channels, suggesting new ways for us to reach our target markets, whilst also looking at, reviewing and improving our policy renewals.

Collaboration with internal colleagues is key to this role, with activity heavily linked with our compliance, IT and operational teams. You will also be reliant on our digital agency for support and resource.

Digital Channel / Marketing Manager - Key Responsibilities:

- Management of the digital marketing plan to acquire new policy sales

- Ownership of the planning, forecasting and optimisation of PPC, SEO, Affiliate, Email and Paid Social Activity ensuring all activity is profitable, compliant and on-brand

- Management of our UK websites, their content, and development roadmaps to optimise performance

- Channel Performance Analysis & Reporting to Senior Management

- Own and improve our brands online reputation

- Identify new opportunities and channels to grow sales.

Digital Channel / Marketing Manager - Essential Experience:

- Management, optimisation and reporting on performance of paid acquisition channels including PPC, Affiliates, Social Media & Email

- Analytical ability in relation to website performance and optimisation

- Demonstrable experience of technical, onsite and offsite SEO

- Digital Project Management Experience, specifically with website developments

- Content marketing generation and publishing

- Agency management experience

- Budget Management

- Working knowledge of Google Analytics.

Digital Channel / Marketing Manager - Desired Experience:

- Experience / knowledge of Marketing Cloud technologies

- Knowledge of the Umbraco CMS platform

- Experience of working in a regulated environment

- Experience of using & implementing Google Tag Manager.
