This company has more than doubled in size in the last 10 years and this growth looks set to continue at an exciting rate. They now require an excellent Hospital Director to manage a successful 40 bed CAMHS hospital in Norfolk.
Key Responsibilities
As Hospital Director, you will be fully responsible for ensuring the quality of care remains at the highest level and that hospital meets all regulated standards. Continuous development of the hospital and through service development and staff training is essential.
Duties will include,
• Full Budget management responsibility
• Operational Management
• Managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Business Development
• Networking and relationship building with local NHS purchasers, GPs and local authorities
You will manage strong teams of consultant psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, registered nurses, social workers, teachers, therapists and clinical support staff have all been specially selected for their experience, their skill, and their dedication to providing first-class care for each service user.
Experience Required
• Experience of managing a large private independent unit
• You will have a proven track record of leading a multi-disciplinary team
• You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills together with a track record of dealing with those who commission care, preferably in locked rehabilitation for those with a primary diagnosis of severe, long-term mental health problems and complex needs
• You will have the ability to form business plans, support the strategic and budget planning process and be able to control and monitor the day to day effective use of resources; both people and services.
• Managing risk and ensuring high quality service delivery is an essential requirement. The post holder will be accountable as the 'Registered Person' under the Care Standards Act
