We require a Project Manager (Subsea Cables) to join our client in Fife.
The Project Manager will manage and be responsible for offshore projects and Subsea Cable projects within the Subsea Services department around the UK and North West Europe. The successful candidate will coordinate project related tasks whilst providing technical expertise and managing a broad range of sub-contractors, operation and technical teams.
This role is based at their Head Office, however there is a requirement to travel and work away regularly throughout the UK and internationally.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
Essential;
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in either Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
  • A background in Marine / Engineering / Renewable Energy / Environmental.
  • Experience working on large engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of Vessel and deck operations.
  • Experience in tender processes.
  • STCW 95 Regulations certificates.
  • ENG1 Seafarer Medical Certificate - Unrestricted.
  • Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Office packages in particular Excel and Microsoft Project Planner.
Desirable;
  • Subsea Cable and Deck Operations.
  • Project Management experience on engineering projects.
  • Primavera P6 planning software.
  • Autocad, Solidworks or similar Engineering drawing software.
  • Knowledge of GIS software systems.

The ideal candidate will be a team player and have a proactive and flexible approach in the workplace.
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Offshore Project Management - Subsea Cables work.
  • Co-ordinate and undertake projects within the Subsea Services Department.
  • Plan and execute cable installations, cable repair operations and remedial cable activities.
  • Planned Maintenance programme management.
  • Report production for customers and management.
  • Co-ordinate and manage large teams including; vessel crew, riggers, survey, ROV and dive teams.
  • Contribute to the business planning process for Subsea Services Department.
  • Tender preparation and submission tracking.
  • Support wider business interests, particularly Diving, Salvage, Survey & Marine Assets.
