Family Engagement Worker

You will join us as a Family Engagement Worker with a focus on family casework for prisoners that are completing voluntary work placements for Pact.

Family Engagement Worker Responsibilities:

Offering support to other aspects of the service including play and children's services; support for family groupwork interventions.

Family Engagement Worker Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable capacity to coordinate a broad service, as well as experience and understanding of working with families in a challenging multi-agency environment, ideally involving offenders and/or their families.

You will have experience of casework with service users, and of maintaining clear, up to date records. You will also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding work load.

You will have the ability to contribute to planning and development of Pact's family work and also have knowledge of safeguarding/child protection practice.

Furthermore you will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in build partnerships with a range of agencies.

Location: HMP East Sutton Park, Maidstone ME17 3DF

Hours: Part Time, Permanent, 22.5 hours per week

Salary: £12,900 (£21,500 pro rata) per annum
