As a rapidly growing Company who are leaders within the automotive aftermarket, we have an exciting career opportunity for Finance Administrator to be based within the sales ledger team at our Chester Service Centre.

We are looking for a self-motivated Sales Ledger Finance Administrator who will be responsible for contributing to the company's financial performance through efficient processing and collection of customer payments.

Main Duties include
  • Ensure all payments coming into the company are accurately recorded and correctly posted to the system
  • Ensure cash and cheques received by Head Office are prepared for the bank postal service on a daily basis and the paying in book is completed
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Increase credit limits when requested by sales team
  • Create new customer accounts as and when required in line with company policy
  • Create Allicat online accounts and deal with customer Allicat queries as and when required
  • Obtain PODs from branches and external carriers
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required to support the credit control

The ideal candidate will have experience of financial administration, gained within in a fast paced environment.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Good organisation skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to process high volume of paperwork
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must hold a Driving License to take banking and post on a daily basis
  • Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable however not essential



Working Hours

40 hours per week Monday to Friday as instructed by the Manager
