What you'll be doing: As one of the world's largest travel search sites, the SEO team at Skyscanner is responsible for hundreds of thousands of landing pages across dozens of country websites that are visited by more than 80 million travelers a month. We're looking for an experienced SEO manager to join our team and drive growth from global SEO tactics and strategies amongst our flight search business. The flights search business makes up the majority of our travel business today and is a key pillar of our future growth plans. You'll work with a team of SEO managers, content managers, and analysts to drive best-in-class SEO techniques to drive growth amongst this valuable segment of the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Accelerate organic search growth for the business globally
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and content to ensure the Skyscanner site is setup to meet the optimal criteria of search engine algorithms while improving accessibility, visibility, rank, relevancy, and user experience
  • Work with technical SEO team members to perform website audits, crawl analysis, keyword research, and more
  • Analyze data and work with data analysts teams to identify areas for SEO growth and optimization based on key trends
  • Inform content strategy based on SEO research, performance, trends, and insights
  • Work with SEO analysts to develop and own reporting on SEO tactics and campaigns
  • Be a subject matter expert for the company on the latest SEO developments and trends

Qualifications:
  • Proven SEO experience preferably for a large global consumer brand with thousands of landing pages across multiple country specific websites
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices and Google quality guidelines
  • Experience with SEO tools such as GSC, SEM Rush, etc.
  • Experience identifying and troubleshooting onsite issues and determining proper fixes
  • Proven track record of driving growth from SEO activities
  • Passionate about SEO and knowledge of the latest SEO trends, best practices, and industry developments.
  • Strong collaboration skills and eager to work cross-functionally and evangelize channel best practices
