STEM Teaching Assistant - Key Information:

STEM Teaching Assistant - The Role:

This role if for an individual who has a passion for their STEM subject and is eager to gain classroom based experience where they can share their specialist degree knowledge before diving into teacher training.

This fantastic science department boasts an enthusiastic and supportive staff team who are dedicated to help nurture you into the teacher you aspire to be. You will be provided with ample teaching opportunities where you can learn and grow the skills crucial for future teaching courses.

You will prepare and conduct your very own lessons with the guidance of teachers as well as leading small group sessions where you can interact with students on a more comprehensive level. This is crucial to monitor their progress and offer additional support so they can aim higher!

STEM Teaching Assistant - Person Specification:

• 2.1 or 1st class degree in STEM course
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Previous work with children is desirable
