Our team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Manager who will help guide a world class in-house team of designers, engineers and technologists. You'll work closely with key stakeholders, development and product partners to deliver innovative solutions that hundreds of thousands of Amazonians use every.We are seeking a talented Product Manager to help guide the design system team as they define and drive innovation for our product across the HR space. In this role, you’ll work with a cross-functional, highly capable team of designers, researchers, product managers and engineers, shepherding the design system across Amazon.In this position you’ll have a significant impact on the customer experience as you take a leadership role in driving the direction across the design system. You will be the single-threaded leader of the design system that all internal HR products use at Amazon. You will work collaboratively with design, engineering, and product to guide design and development throughout the planning, development, and release lifecycle for a multitude of customer scenarios to deliver innovative solutions that are effortless, intuitive and delight our customers. This Product Manager should have deep knowledge and practical experience in software design, from design concept creation to development and release and possess excellent communication abilities.Responsibilities Include· Identifying, prioritizing and scheduling work items related, including cross-feature/team dependencies and priorities. In partnership with design and engineering leads, they will create and maintain detailed roadmaps after understanding high level goals· Driving team deliverables by removing obstacles, assisting with tactical issues, triaging bugs, scheduling reviews with stakeholders and leadership, and communicating product/team status· They will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders and partners to ensure on-time delivery of innovative solutions.· Work with cross functional stakeholders (design, program, product and engineering) to capture and define product requirements and requests from multiple external teams. Define priorities and scope for new domains and features.· Understand and drive dependencies with multiple product partner teams to prioritize and communicate key user scenarios to be supported while maintaining a high bar for customer satisfaction.· Provide program management leadership and operational support across functional teams by increasing communication and connection points, streamlining the process, and driving product excellence.· Create and maintain processes that allow the team to deliver better work, faster.· Help define and report on success metrics, use data to help prioritize work, and manage multiple competing work streams.Basic qualifications· 6+ years experience as a Program or Product Manager· Experience leading a cross functional team through multiple product development cycles· Passion for user experience and design· Excellent Project management, communication and organizational skills· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experiencePreferred qualification · Experience as a Producer, UX PM, or similar role· Experience as a digital product designer· Experience working with global cross-functional teams· Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience. Understanding of UX design principles (flows, states, process)· Strong design vocabulary to help communicate with both designers and developers
