This is an opportunity to join a global Fintech business providing of community based networks and processing solutions to the Payments Industry. The network is a unique, highly resilient PCI certified network designed to securely and quickly deliver critical payment transaction information to banks, merchants, processors and other payment institutions. This network, which reliably delivers billions of transactions each year, is also used by the company to deliver a host of innovative value added solutions to their customers, all of which are designed to help them improve their operational efficiencies and grow their revenues.

They are currently seeking a tenacious and forward-thinking individual to fill this new role as Sales Executive. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of existing development accounts whilst working closely with the existing Sales and Account teams providing day to day support which intern will provide you with additional learning opportunities. In addition to day to day account management the successful candidate will be required to identify new business sales within the existing account base and new customers. You will responsible for growing the annual revenue in line with the company goals and aggressive targets.

The successful applicant must demonstrate a desire for personal success as well as a drive to help the company meet its global goals and targets. The ability to work as a team member is also very important. They are looking for candidates who can communicate at all levels and possess a desire to learn and take advantage of progression opportunities.

Sales Executive - Main purpose of the role

The primary role of the Sales Executive is to retain and grow its nominated customer base, identify new opportunities and work closely with the Account Management team. The trainee should look to grow revenue in-line with annual targets, by identifying, qualifying and winning new business from each individuals account base as well as new customers.

Key Accountabilities and Duties

This is a trainee role and as such the successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn on the job and influence the success of a high-profile Fintech business in the Payments space. As part of the training you will gain the experience and knowledge to be able to carry out the following:

Retain Business
- Ensuring that the company is delivering and exceeding where possible its contractual obligations.
- Ensure that the operational divisions within the organisation are delivering the service to meet and exceed contractual obligations. Should there be service related issues; the Sales and Account Manager (Trainee)should be responsible for escalating this to the relevant personnel within the organisation.
