My client has an exciting opportunity for a professional and experienced IT Support Engineer to join this friendly IT team based at their Dartford, Kent head office.

The successful candidate will be joining a team of 4 and be responsible for providing IT support via telephone, e-mail or face to face (1st and 2nd Line). You will need to prioritise, coordinate and resolve IT support requests and as well as proactively monitor and fix BAU issues.

Part of your role will be the responsibility for keeping staff across the firm working effectively by responding promptly to support desk calls and provide the necessary resolution.

Your day to day duties will include supporting a Windows 10 Desktop networked environment and confidently manage users within Active Directory and Office 365. Any previous exposure to VOIP Telephony Systems will be advantageous although not essential.

You should also be familiar with a Windows Server Infrastructure including VMWare as well as general networking including (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a polite telephone manner, be approachable and have an aptitude for learning new IT skills. You will also be a logical problem solver and have a flexible approach to your workload.
