Service introduction and Change Manager Manchester up to £55,000

The Role

The service and change manager is responsible for leading service design, transition and change activities for all areas. They have strong relationship building skills and are responsible for liaising with key stakeholders to ensure successful transitions of new/changed services from design to live and ensuring all policies and procedures are applied and forwarded.

As Service Change Manager you will coordinate activities to ensure technical operations receive effective handover from project to production, ensuring that approval is gained for the functions to provide the ongoing support post delivery. Ensure that all service requirements are included in business plans, arranging service design approval, compiling risk assessments, gap analysis of support processes, planning IT training activities, ensuring documentation is signed off.

Who you are

- Significant experience in service design, technical governance and delivery experience

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships

- Experience in facilitating teams from multiple departments.

Who youll be

- Managing a team of it professionals responsible fort he successful service design, transition and change

- Creating and delivering service introduction plans, processes and operational readiness materials to allow a smooth transition into all IT operations functions

- Assist with the service roll out through Change Management and service transition. (change, release and transition)

- Working with CIO It stakeholders to agree Service Acceptance criteria and support the portfolio teams in delivering what is agreed.
