A tech-savvy Support Analyst is needed to join an industry-leading software provider based just a short walk from Berkhamsted Station. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in business software.

With outstanding modern offices covering 5,000 square feet, experienced teams of Developers, Trainers, Support Analysts and Salespeople. This specialist software provider is delivering state-of-the-art Enterprise Resource Planning solutions for the distribution & wholesale industries. Due to consistent growth they are looking for a new Support Analyst who wishes to progress their career and to ensure their customers receive top quality advice and service

Their Support Analysts work collaboratively, meaning that you're the customers' champion to the rest of the company and are able to pull in any and all resources needed to bring about a successful resolution of the problem. Whether it's the Managing Director, or the Head of Development, the entire company is behind you. This provides you with an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of business practices, and problem-solving techniques. As a Support Analyst your day-to-day challenges are varied from guiding business users towards the correct practice within the software, to assisting with basic IT tasks such as email or printing issues, to designing new SQL reports, to building a full Windows domain and configuring PCs to work with it.

To qualify. You should be a Support Analyst / IT Software Analyst / Technical Support Engineer / IT Engineer or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience as an IT Software Analyst, IT Engineer or have worked for a Wholesale/Distribution company and want to tackle more software/data-related challenges;
  • Strong customer service skills; good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
  • An affinity for software and data.

An understanding of the following would be an advantage: Microsoft Excel, MS SQL, Sage, Xero or any other Accountancy/ERP software Office 365 / Microsoft Azure platform.
