Engagement Marketing Executive - Membership and Event organisation - 6 month contract with immediate start - £26k to £28k + Benefits - Central London

The Engagement Marketing Executive will be appointed within this organisation, which promotes professional memberships and events, to support the regions and nations in their marketing efforts, contributing towards membership and growth. Consistency in marketing brand representation and member/customer experience across all touch points. Ensure the quality and consistency of output of all marketing communications - across email, web, social and print. Support the management of the social media communities and ensure relevant content from around the business is published through social channels to engage our audiences.

  • £26k pa to £28k pa + Benefits
  • This will be to start asap, for a 6 month contract
  • Location: Central London
  • Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm

  • Collation of content to provide a themed fortnightly email newsletter for members
  • Building of the fortnightly email newsletter and testing to ensure of the highest quality and signed off by all relevant internal and external parties
  • Adapting the fortnightly email newsletter to utilise for the non-member audience to encourage engagement and acquisition
  • Copywriting and proofing for website and print materials - from spelling and grammar checks and fixes to creating fresh copy for products and services; working with the design team to ensure all web and printed material is of the highest standard
  • Collate social media content from across the business in line with agreed process, moderate, publish and advise on improvement opportunities
  • Support the development of the regions, nations and branches social media profiles / presence in alignment with the national social media plan
  • Provide analytics and insight in relation to regions and nations social activity. Provide advice to help improve future activity in these areas
  • Work with the regional and digital team to ensure the efficacy and consistency of the regions, nations and branches web presence
  • Create, analyse and optimise member / customer journeys to deliver value and ensure engagement with products and services and to create cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience and competence using a CMS
  • Experience and competence using an email service provider, preferably Dotdigital
  • Experience of Google Analytics and the ability to provide robust reporting and insight
  • Graduate calibre with Marketing specific qualification, ideally CIM
  • Experience of CRMs and data management
  • Experience working with creative and digital agencies
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills to ensure accuracy both in terms of grammar and information
  • Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas
  • A strong communicator, possessing the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people and address varying needs
