The IT Systems team plays an important supporting role within Amigo. Our business hugely leverages technology and it is key to our continued growth and in maintaining our competitive advantage. Our diverse team are encouraged and supported to stay on top of new technological developments so that they have the confidence and skills to deliver innovative features. Our continued expansion means that we need to recruit additional experienced capability into the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of IT Systems, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining our desktop IT infrastructure and handling user administration. You will also be the primary point of contact for responding to internal user queries and requests using our helpdesk system and in person from all levels of staff across the business.

You will have a large part to play in securing these systems and infrastructure and ensuring that best practice is maintained and updated across all relevant areas.

To work effectively within the business, it is important for all in the team to maintain excellent working relationships with other business teams and be able to communicate technical subjects seamlessly with colleagues in other areas of the organisation.

Skills and Experience

Essential
  • 2+ years of experience supporting desktop environments and providing user support.
  • Strong Windows desktop administration skills including Active Directory administration and Group Policy (Windows 10, Server 2012 and beyond).
  • A good basic understanding of network fundamentals.
  • Great customer service and communications skills.
  • Able to work autonomously or as part of a small team and demonstrate ownership.

Useful (but not essential) Skills & Experience:
  • You have good PC hardware skills (preferably HP)
  • You have been exposed to desktop deployment technologies such as SCCM.
  • You have had an exposure to email platform administration.

Permanent, full time role, contracted 41.25 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm plus inclusion in our out-of-hours support rota (one week in five).

Salary up to £30,000 per annum (DOE), inclusion in our company quarterly bonus scheme + Benefits Package.
