The Education Specialists are working with a pupil referral unit-based Formby who are looking for a Nurture Hub Teacher to teach small groups of between 5-8 students within their newly opened curriculum hub. The students are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education and will follow a holistic PHSE curriculum at the Hub.

As the lead Nurture Teacher, you will work closely with the classroom support team to engage and encourage children to engage with the PHSE curriculum, whilst supporting the children Social, emotional and mental health needs.

The right candidate will therefore be calm, resilient and adopt a holistic approach to their teaching practice.

What The Educational Specialists need from you:
  • Teaching experience of teaching high school children with SEMH needs is essential.
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Experience of teaching students in small groups.
  • Professional manner
  • Enthusiastic, positive and friendly approach
  • Resilience and a sense of humour
  • Team Teach Trained - Or be willing to obtain this training (through ourselves)
