We have a new and exciting opportunity within our CIO Service Protection function and are on the lookout for a talented Senior Analyst to lead the way in protecting our service platforms. Our Service Protection team an established team which has a mature ITIL led change framework in place to govern the safe delivery of IT based change. The ultimate aim of the Service Protection team is to ensure the protection of live service, including all Partner and Supplier change to ensure we maintain a holistic view of change across all Virgin Money service so if you're up for the challenge, please read on...

As a Senior Analyst you will be working collaboratively with your IT colleagues and supporting the wider Service Protection team to deliver results and identify ways to improve performance and effectiveness. You'll protect live operational services through the management of change activity using robust change management processes. We are looking for an excellent communicator as you will be working with all IT functions to ensure effective operation of the change management function and the consistency of procedures including Operational Acceptance governance framework.

We want you to make a big impact and to warrant the coherence of the of the service platform and to develop risk mitigation strategies, identify and address opportunities for communication improvements and manage suppliers and thirds parties as needed. Interrogate ITSM tools (Service Now) to produce reports for bodies that review changes, such as change advisory boards (CABs), and senior management.

What will it take?

We're looking for an expert in what they do. Someone with demonstrable senior experience and a broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems & services and Change Management processes. Problem solving and decision making skills are key as well as being a strong team player with a natural flair for building relationships across the business. Communication skills are important too as we would like you to be able to chair large forums effectively (mainly Change Advisory Boards).

To be successful for this role you will be proactive in your approach and be able to assess release deployment plans against operational readiness criteria and make recommendations to management team.
