Programme/Project Manager

A global powerhouse within the technology industry is looking for an Programme/Project Manager to help roll-out a brand new service into their partner ecosystem. The contract will be for 9 months initially and the role will be based between Reading and London.

The company is working closely with its partner in the roll-out of a service into retail. The team is looking for a candidate with a proven track record in program management, preferably with experience in the retail finance/credit sector.

Project Execution and Governance

This role will lead the execution and governance of a multi-party services project in the UK and Ireland. It involves tracking deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the project process. The candidate will hold owners accountable for their commitments and will support project team meetings to provide status updates. They will also engage the core team to adapt plans based on evolving needs, conditions or issues that may arise and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery in accordance with the stated project goals.

Stakeholder comms

The candidate must be able to provide regular status updates to both internal and external stakeholders ensuring core updates and learnings are shared effectively across the extended v-team

Project Documentation and Archives

Throughout the course of a project, the PMO will work with subject matter experts to ensure documentation, supporting materials, and project plans are updated and readily available for internal teams and senior leaders. Upon completion of a project, the PMO will need to compile project information. Historical information on projects will be used not only for reference for future projects but also to assess the project delivery, completeness, and alignment with stated objectives and goals.

Required Experience
  • Multi-party programme management
  • Local (UK & I) Financial industry experience (ideally with retail credit agreements)
  • Experience in technical systems integration management
  • Dealing well with ambiguity
  • Experience in finance (working with banks and credit models)
