London Support Lead - IT Helpdesk - 2nd Line - Onsite Support - Projects

Penguin Recruitment are looking for a thoroughly hard working, highly capable and flexible IT Support professional to join our London team as our London Support Lead

A critical hire for the business at this crucial time in our continued growth, our London Support Lead will take point in delivery of technical support services both from and to our London base.

The role and responsibilities of the London Support Lead will include

Working remotely in support of the Yorkshire HQ as part of our remote support and service desk
Logging, progressing and closing remote support tickets of a widely varied nature from 1st through 2nd/3rd line
Providing on-site service and support to the London based customers from simple PC / laptop installation to network troubleshooting, servers and infrastructure work and project delivery
Supporting the London new business and account management teams with customers and prospective customer meetings acting in a technical capacity
Conducting network audits and health checks using a range of IT tools
Most importantly - just "Mucking in" as they would say in Yorkshire - doing 'whatever IT takes' to help build the London operation through delivery of outstanding service to our customers and a can-do attitude to anything that is thrown upSuitable candidates for the London Support Lead role will possess at least some of

Microsoft certified professional status to at least MCSA level or equivalent
Cisco, CompTIA or other professional qualifications
A high degree of competency across standard Microsoft platforms
Microsoft Office 365 support and administration experience
Experience using the Datto / Autotask PSA, Backup and other products in an MSP environment
At least 3 years' experience in a similar MSP environment working with SMBs in varying industries; experience with financial services and regulated environments a significant advantage
Happy to travel - routine trips back to HQ, customer and prospect visits within the UK, Europe, the US and further afield
