HEMA UK currently has 10 stores within the UK both in and outside of London and we are currently recruiting for full-time Senior Team Leaders and Team Leaders in some of our central London stores.

Job summary and Key Accountabilities:

Supporting the Store Manager and performing management duties in the absence of the SM. Supporting the excellent day to day running of the store and being a Brand Ambassador.

KPI Management -

·Help to drive sales performance via the delivery of excellent operating procedures and a focused customer service culture

·Responsible for the control of all stock management to reduce stock loss

·Help maintain all other KPIs and costs within targets

Customer -

·Deliver the brand's expected customer standard personally leading by example and through your team

·Through your own behaviour become the Brand Ambassador for your team and customers at all times

·Support the Store Manager by taking an active interest and representing the brand in local events and opportunities in your community

·Responsibility for Health & Safety for your team and customers

People -

·Ensure Team Leaders and Colleagues perform to the expected levels

·Oversee team work for quality and procedures compliance

·Support in highlighting and developing potential within the team

·Support the SM by acting as a role model for the team

·Inspire and motivate team work to achieve goals

·Support the SM in the recruitment process

·Participate in the induction, training and evaluation of new colleagues

·Influence valuable changes and positive outcomes

Visual and Commercial -

·Ensure shop floor meets the Company's visual merchandising and commercial standards at all times

·Support to ensure feedback is given regarding potential product and marketing opportunities

·Ensure the shop is maintained to expected levels

·Contribute to the store's marketing strategy

·Evaluate results and provide feedback to SM

Operating Performance -

·Maintain the organisation of the back of house areas to the Company expectations

·Support to process deliveries and transfers to company standards

·Ensure communication is maintained at all levels through the agreed methods

Administration -

·Ensure all cash handling procedures are carried out securely and comply with company procedures

·Support the Store Manager to ensure all Company Policies & Procedures are carried out to expectations

·Support the Store Manager to ensure all admin is completed on time and to deadline and meets Company standards

·Perform any additional duties deemed necessary and reasonable as instructed by a Senior Manager
