Credit Controller / Purchase Ledger Clerk
Working for a small family firm, reporting to the supervisor, we are offering an opportunity for a full time Credit Controller / Purchase Ledger Clerk.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong communication both internally and externally with administration skills, you will enjoy working in a small close-knit team and be flexible in your approach.
Experience of accounts is essential and ideally the use of SAGE 50.
Hours of work will be 8.30am till 16.45pm Mon-Thur 8.30am till 15.00pm Fri with half hour for lunch.
20 days Holiday plus bank holidays.
Main Duties:
* Credit Control
* Credit checking new customers and opening new accounts within bespoke in-house system.
* Purchase Ledger Supplier statement reconciliation
* Completing supplier credit applications
* Setting up new accounts on sage and a bespoke in-house system.
* Weekly payment runs
* Entering supplier invoices and matching up against order numbers
* General office duties- Photocopying / Franking of mail
* Opening mail
* Answering main switchboard
