Job DescriptionDescription of the job :About us: We are a multidiscipline team working on A320/A330 Landing gear activities in Filton, including new developments, incremental developments and in-service issues. We have a complex integration role with several equipment suppliers to manage and multiple equipment definitions. We are responsible for integrating the wheel tyre and brake assemblies with the landing gear structure and associated systems, and with the aircraft level systems. Task & accountabilities :What you will be doing: Day to day you will be looking after the incremental development activities on the A320/A330 Wheels Tyres and Brakes with the equipment suppliers. You will develop stakeholder management both within Airbus and with suppliers and extended enterprise suppliers. You will also develop deeper technical skills with the intention to gain technical signatory within the field. The team has a significant level of work package offload, hence you will manage this resource as required for relevant tasks. We also encourage flexibility within our teams and hence when appropriate there will also be opportunities for involvement / development in other landing gear disciplines. Required skills :About You : We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with experience of working with suppliers, (preferable wheel, and tyre or brake supplier). The ability to be flexible and the will to work on a variety of activities is essential and good teamwork and stakeholder management skills are required.
