2nd Line Application Support Engineer / £28,000 - £32,000 / Reading

This Service Desk manager role in Reading is a fantastic chance for you to become a member of an award winning and rapidly growing Fintech Company.

They are looking to hire high calibre individuals to work in their progressive team as they undergo transformations to their web and mobile platforms.

You would work and collaborate with their clients, internal users, and fellow team members to offer assistance across their platform.

This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in the IT arena and looking to take their career forward as the company grows.

Your responsibilities would include:

- Managing incidents at a 2nd/3rd line level
- Diagnose issues and provide resolutions
- Improve processes and spot areas for improvement
- Deliver helpdesk functions to both internal and external stakeholders

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

- Strong Linux experience
- Great SQL scripting abilities
- Proficiency with supporting the Windows environment
- A track record in an application support desk environment
- Knowledge of Virtualisation and Network tools
- Be confident creating technical documentation
- Excellent communication skills
